Birding

Great Horned Owl at Eden Valley
Great Horned Owl at Eden Valley

Birders have been visiting the unspoiled Okanogan Highlands since the late 1940’s, and excellent viewing variety and numbers are still here today. Due to the regions topography there are numerous bird migrations over the Okanogan Highlands in spring and fall that bring still more opportunities and different species. The many Okanogan Highland lakes yield a variety of water loving dwellers, yet each lake population mix is different. The back-road tours available along water loving tree stands provide aviaries of grand proportion.

Guests staying at Eden Valley Ranch have materials available to assist with their birding adventures. Guests just need to ask about these tools.
